Low end sits deeper, so Losing a Whole Year hits harder without muddying the hooks. Jumper still lands like a friend pulling you aside, the snare crack keeping the chorus buoyant rather than blustery. Hows It Going to Be shimmers with that autoharp texture, now given more space so the fade-out feels properly bittersweet. Motorcycle Drive By swells from diary whisper to sky-wide catharsis, and the quieter mid-song lull doesnt collapse into noise when the band comes back in. File it alongside late-90s alt-pop with real bite, think Gin Blossoms but more West Coast sparkle and sharper dynamics.
