You can hear the canine-sample snap and muttered groove of Floating Dogs twisted into something weightless. Birdys Flight lifts on rolling toms and gated room ambience, while Slow Marimbas just glows, all patience and pulse. This 2LP 45RPM edition gives the cues room to breathe; space opens up around the percussion and the transients land tidier. It belongs right next to Gabriels Security and Passion era, with one foot near Brian Enos more textural film work.
