A singular pianist, Bruno Rigutto blends a keen sense of color, lyricism, and refinement in an intense and heartfelt playing style. The sole disciple of Samson Franois – who passed on to him the gift of artistic freedom – he now presents his most personal album to date: Ricordi. This double album features 26 pieces spanning 13 countries, each evoking memories from a rich career that has taken him to the four corners of the world. Adding to these are two of his own compositions – audience favorites at his concerts – which he now shares for the first time on record.
